Tracy Farr is on the programme for the second annual Wellington LitCrawl, on Saturday 14 November 2015, appearing in the ‘True Stories Told Live’ event supported by New Zealand Book Council.
Celebrating independent publishing and collaboration, LitCrawl takes place at a range of downtown Wellington venues, from bookshops to chocolate factories, art galleries to bars, breweries, cinemas and music shops.
In ‘True Stories Told Live’ (TSTL), participants deliver an eight-minute story – live, scriptless and without props – inspired by the theme ‘waiting’. The lineup for TSTL at LitCrawl 2015 features book editor and author Susanna Andrew, poet Emma Barnes, journalist and author Max Rashbrooke, and museum curator Puawai Cairns, along with Tracy Farr.
Here’s how TSTL is described in the LitCrawl programme:
Intimate. Real. Anything goes. Our writers step across the threshold and go unscripted and unsupported by notes, lecterns or audio-visual support. This is storytelling at its unabashed best.
