I’m heading back to my reading roots on 4 October, to The Grove Library in Cottesloe, to talk about ‘writing, reading and everything in between’.
I grew up in North Cottesloe in the 1960s and early 70s, and the little old library that was then on the site of the fabulous shiny current Grove Library was my local, visited every Saturday (or was it every second Saturday, with loans for a fortnight?).
It’ll be a thrill to head back there and talk with the wise and wonderful Emily Paull (writer and Westbooks Adult Fiction Specialist).
Tracy Farr – Author talk at The Grove Library
Join Tracy Farr (author of The Hope Fault and The Life and Loves of Lena Gaunt) as she chats to Westbooks Adult Fiction Specialist Emily Paull about writing, reading and everything in between.
When: Wednesday 4 October, 6pm (concludes 8pm)
Where: The Grove Library, 1 Leake St, Peppermint Grove (cnr Leake St and Stirling Hwy) (need directions?)
- Here’s an interview from a few years ago about my (and my family’s) links with Cottesloe, and its place at the heart of my first novel, The Life and Loves of Lena Gaunt.
- Image: me, hanging out with the books at Northbourne kindy, 1967. I’m rocking some similar glasses these days.
