I’m going to be in Perth for a fortnight in October (for the stage premiere of The Hope Fault at WAAPA) – a perfect excuse, if one is needed, to throw a Bad Diaries Salon (and a few other events)!
Returning to Perth for the first time in 2 years, this Bad Diaries Salon will be all about the #BURN, with a truly exciting lineup of readers. We hope you can join us at The Bird on Tuesday 15 October for Bad Diaries Salon #BURN.
Bad Diaries Salon: #BURN
If you like your literary events candid, original and unedited, don’t miss this reveal of writing not meant to be seen or heard.
An outstanding lineup of five writers, introduced by Bad Diaries Salon co-curator Tracy Farr, will read from their unpublished diaries and notebooks. AJ Betts, Michelle Johnston, Sisonke Msimang, Holden Sheppard and Annabel Smith will respond to this salon’s theme: BURN.
Each Bad Diaries Salon is a unique combination of theme and readers, sometimes funny, sometimes feisty, always frank, fresh and fascinating: the written word, rediscovered and shared.
Bad Diaries Salon is a literary series created by Melbourne writer Jenny Ackland. Salons are curated and introduced by Jenny Ackland and/or Tracy Farr.
When: 8.00pm, Tuesday 15 October 2019 (7.30pm for 8pm start)
Where: The Bird, 181 William St, Northbridge, Perth
Tickets: $10 (cash at the door only)
